User Functionality
Test.com is designed with your end user experience in mind.
Simply, the test.com application is very easy to use. It's intuitive and doesn't require any training. There is nothing to install or download. The only technical requirement is having an Internet browser. 99.999% of all common browsers are supported.
Your private test.com website will look and feel like your website. You control the site branding for your users accessing your tests, learning and certification content.
You can limit or expand what you make available to users. You can also limit what's available based on group membership; this means users who are members of one combination of groups can access different combinations of test/content than members of other groups.
You can control the number of times content is taken and the order it is taken. Administrators can selectivity override these limits and control the duration of the limits. Different limits can be set based on, for example, if tests were passed or failed.
If you choose to sell your content, test.com can optionally integrate with your PayPal or Google Checkout accounts. Or if you have you own shopping cart, you can integrate Test.com with that. When utilizing this feature you can control varying pricing options, or no cost options (such as no charge for retakes). User group membership overrides can be used to selectively provide no charge access to content.
You can package content into Folders, Programs and Courses. This feature provides user navigation convenience and administrative control (such as: certificates or automated emails can be triggered upon the completion of the content in a Program/Course). Or upon the completion of the certification Program, test.com can optionally manage the length of time the certification is valid and then remind users/administrators when the certification needs to be renewed.
By default, once a user logs in, they have access to their content to take and view history, certificates and account information. You can control accessibility, terminology, messaging, banners and sub-branding based on group membership.
You can also optionally control the display of text/graphics on login pages, page headers, new user entry pages, help screens and content instruction pages.
Bottom-line, the setup defaults fit the needs for most test.com customers. But test.com includes the finite functionality to fine tune the end user experience to fit your evolving needs.
